International Jazz Day Ohio Celebration
Our Jazz Day Ohio was cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic. Our planned event was scheduled to feature a special concert by saxophone super recording and performance artist, Paula Atherton, along with the jazz fusion group, Fo/Mo/Deep and the jazz stylings of The Tim Cummisky Trio.
Listeners tuned in on Thursday, April 30th for a 24 Hour Jazz Broadcast Extravaganza to celebrate our 2nd Annual International Jazz Day Ohio tribute to the 9th Anniversary of International Jazz Day, celebrated Worldwide. Due to Covid, our 2020 live entertainment with Paula Atherton had to be canceled. Columbus Jazz Alliance (Formerly SEMM Foundation), Jazz Day Ohio and Jazz 98.5 FM, WSAX radio station, are an authorized United Nations, UNESCO, International Jazz Day Participant.
Due To The Current Worldwide Corona Virus Crisis Our 2020 Event Will Feature A Special 24 Hour Broadcast Extravaganza Showcasing The Best In Jazz.
